WPTDS announces the 2nd half of Season 4; Features new Championship venue!

Los Angeles, CA (December 20, 2016) – Building on a jam-packed first half, WPTDeepStacks® (WPTDS) is proud to announce the release of the second half of its Season 4 schedule. From August to December in 2017, WPTDS presents seven exciting events with $2.6 million in combined main event prize pool guarantees, including a brand new location for the $1 million guaranteed WPTDS Championship.

The second half of Season 4 traverses the U.S. and Canada*, racking up 12,590 miles of non-stop poker action, with great new locations and events.

From August 17-28, the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, Nevada welcomes back WPTDS for the second time in Season 4 and the fourth time in the last two years, and from September 2-11, WPTDS continues its relationship with the Seminole Tribe as the tour returns to Seminole Immokalee Casino, Southwest Florida’s premier gaming destination.

Season 4 will also see the first-ever DSPT Battle of Alberta Poker Championship (BAPC), a two-event special hosted by Casino Yellowhead and Grey Eagle Resort and Casino. Players can expect a unique series featuring an enhanced Player of the Series package with, among other things, a seat into the Season XVI WPT® Five Diamond World Poker Classic at Bellagio Resort and Casino.

The event at Casino Yellowhead runs September 22-October 2, and the event at Grey Eagle runs September 29-October 9.

Riverside Casino & Golf Resort in Iowa and Ocean’s Eleven Casino in California will also host events in October 2017, plus the $200,000 guaranteed WPTDS Oklahoma makes its return to Downstream Casino Resort in November.

The Season 4 Championship moves from Calgary to Sacramento, where Thunder Valley Casino plays host to the marquee, season-ending event. Season 4’s WPTDS Championship marks the first-ever $1 million guarantee for a $2,500 buy-in event in Thunder Valley’s history.
